Apprenticeship Program

Our full season intensive apprenticeship program runs from April through October and is geared towards those who are serious about learning how to grow and market organic farm products . You will work side by side with the farmers at corona farm for 50+ hours per week and gain experience in all aspects of small scale intensive agriculture including soil management, plant propagation, composting, harvesting, and marketing.

Apprentices will also complete a personal interest project related to expanding the diversity of the farm. Projects areas might include bee-keeping, mushroom culture, added-value products, alternative energy.

Apprentices are offered
  • rustic housing (large canvas tent)
  • access to the earth-built showerhouse and sauna,
  • use of the outdoor kitchen.
  • A modest stipend
  • all the veggies you can eat


Qualifications:

Previous gardening or farming experience
Willingness to work long hours in inclement weather
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly
Valid drivers license
