A passion for fresh, seasonal produce, which has been harvested at its peak of nutritional quality and taste. A desire to fuel the cells of our bodies with food that is free from harmful chemicals. A lifestyle which nurtures the earth's living systems and shares in its bounty in a sustainable way. These ideals guide us a we grow the fruits, vegetables, and herbs here on the corona farm land.
The mild climate of the olympic peninsula allows us to grow a wonderful variety of food year round. Spring brings us the crisp texture and spicy flavors of mustard, arugula, and radishes. Summer's sweet harvest of corn, tomatoes, and berries leads gracefully into fall with it's delicious squashes, rutabagas, and yacon tubers. Winter brings its own frost-sweetened delights of kales and collard greens as well as a delightful array of heirloom lettuces quietly growing under the protection of a greenhouse.
Our produce is available year round here in Port Townsend. Join our farm share subscrption program for a weekly box of goodies delivered right to your doorstep, visit us at the festive Farmer's Market on Saturdays, or tantalize your palate with the delightful creations of chef Jay Payne at the Wild Coho Restaurant.
